It was ‘Lakers in 5,’ but not the way L.A. fans expected. The Minnesota Timberwolves knocked out LeBron James and the Lakers in a convincing 103-96 win in Game 5 behind a career night for Rudy Gobert, who finished with 27 points and 24 rebounds.

The Lakers fell short again in the fourth quarter, scoring only 16 points as Minnesota didn’t even need a peak performance from Anthony Edwards, who scored just 15 points on 5-19 shooting from the field.
