Social media reacts to Warriors dominating Rockets in Game 7: ‘Buddy Hield turned into prime Klay Thompson’
The Warriors silenced the crowd at Toyota Center with a dominating 103-89 Game 7 win in Houston, where Buddy Hield recorded a playoff career-high 33 points with nine three-pointers (tied for the most in a Game 7 in NBA playoff history) after averaging 7.2 points in the series. Stephen Curry had a great fourth quarter and ended up with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, while Jimmy Butler added 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Amen Thompson led the Rockets with 22 points and eight rebounds, and Alperen Sengun had 16 points and 14 rebounds, but the team shot just 37.8 percent from the field with only three three-pointers.
Warriors will head to Minnesota to start their series on Tuesday.

There aren’t many players who have tortured one fan base in the way Stephen Curry has done so to the Rockets over the years. It’s been a solid decade of this at this point.

The Rockets seem to have a bright future.
But so did the 2023 Sacramento Kings.

Alperen Sengun is not supposed to be your leading scorer. He’s a guy you run offense through. The Rockets offense does not utilize cutting and off-ball movement in any consistent way. That needs to change so they can create offense using Sengun’s gravity. And get a new SG too.

Never thought I’d utter these words, but Buddy Hield just had a Klay Thompson-esque playoff performance.

Buddy Hield turning into prime Klay Thompson in a win or go home scenario has to feel like multiple RPG blasts to the chest
